Privacy

This is starter wording. Review it before launch and edit it under Pages in the league admin.

What we collect

The Ox League keeps the smallest amount of information it can and still run a league.

• Game signups. If you put your name and email on the list for a game, we store both so we can check you in at the door and send you a confirmation.
• Visit statistics. We record which pages are viewed, how long they are open, the page you arrived from and your browser type. This is anonymous by default and is not linked to you unless you are signed in.
• Fan accounts. If fan accounts are enabled and you create one, we store your email, display name and a hashed password. We never store your password itself.
• Anything you send us. Emails you send to the league stay in our mailbox.

What we do not collect

We never see your card details. Tickets and merchandise are sold through Square, on Square's own checkout pages, and payment information goes to them rather than to us. Their privacy terms cover that part.

Cookies

We set a cookie only to keep you signed in — one for league staff, one for fan accounts. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Videos are embedded through YouTube's no-cookie domain, so YouTube does not receive anything about you until you press play.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share personal information. The only third parties involved are the services that make the site work — our hosting provider, our database provider, our email provider and Square — and they only handle what they need to.

How long we keep it

Signup lists are kept for the season they belong to and then deleted. Visit statistics are aggregated and are not useful for identifying anyone. Account details stay until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

Write to info@theoxleague.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in and no waiting period beyond the time it takes a human to read the message.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page rather than quietly editing it.
